Terms & Conditions
Effective Date: 9th September 2026
Please read these Terms and Conditions ("Terms", "Agreement") carefully before using the online therapy platform operated by Boost My Mood a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13870688, with its registered office at Easterbrook Eaton Cosmopolitan House, Old Fore Street, Sidmouth, Devon, England, EX10 8LS ("we", "us", or "our").
By accessing or using our Service, you confirm that you accept these Terms and agree to comply with them. If you do not agree, please do not use our Service.
1. Eligibility:
You must be aged 18 or over to use our Service. By registering, you confirm that you are legally capable of entering into a binding contract under UK law.
2. Service Description:
Boost My Mood provides access to qualified and appropriately registered or accredited UK therapists through a secure online platform.
Our service is designed to help you find a therapist who may be suitable for your individual needs, preferences and goals. We may use information you provide during registration and our matching process to recommend therapists based on their experience, qualifications, therapeutic approach and areas of expertise.
Depending on the subscription or service you choose, your therapy may be provided through online video sessions, telephone sessions, secure messaging or other services available through the platform.
A therapist recommendation is not a medical diagnosis or guarantee of a particular therapeutic outcome. If you feel your matched therapist is not the right fit for you, you can contact us to discuss alternative options, subject to availability.
Boost My Mood is not an emergency or crisis service. If you require immediate help, please refer to our Safeguarding and Crisis Support information.
3. Subscription, Payment and Cancellation
-
• The Service is available on a weekly or four-weekly subscription basis.
-
• All fees are displayed in GBP (£) and include VAT where applicable. -
• Payment is taken in advance using a valid payment method.
-
• Your subscription will automatically renew unless you cancel it before the next renewal date.
-
• You can cancel your subscription at any time through your account. Refunds for unused sessions or credits during the current subscription period will not normally be provided, except where required by UK consumer law.
-
• If you cancel a therapy session with less than 48 hours’ notice, the session fee may still be charged. Cancellations made with at least 48 hours’ notice will not normally be charged.
-
• If you need to reschedule a session, please arrange this with your therapist through the platform.
4. Your Right to Cancel (Cooling-Off Period)
Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you generally have the right to cancel your subscription within 14 days of purchase.
If you ask us to begin providing the Service during this 14-day period, you may still have the right to cancel, but you may be charged for any Service provided up to the date you cancel.
Where the Service has been fully provided during the 14-day period with your express agreement and acknowledgement that your cancellation rights would end once the Service was fully provided, your right to cancel may no longer apply.
Further information about cancellation and refunds is set out in our Cancellation and Refund Policy.
